Mesa

Mesa is the 3rd largest city in Arizona (after Phoenix and Tucson). It is located within Maricopa County and is 20 miles east of Phoenix. It borders Tempe to the west, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to the north, Chandler and Gilbert to the south, and Apache Junction to the east.

Conveniently located near the Phoenix metro area, the US Highway 60, Arizona State Routes 87, 101, and 202 run through the City of Mesa. The largest relief airport in the Phoenix area, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, is in Mesa's southeastern corner. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is within 30 minutes or less.

Major data centers and employers are targeted in Mesa, including Apple, Google and Facebook, located in the Southeast corridor.

The city's attractions include Mesa Arts Center, Mesa Amphitheater, Golfland Sunsplash waterpark and Arizona Museum of Natural History. In addition, it is home to baseball spring training at Hohokam Stadium and Gene Autry Park. After shopping at the Mesa Market Place or Superstition Springs Mall, enjoy live old-time organ music and pizza at Organ Stop Pizza.

Mesa has over 2,280 acres of parkland in the city limits including Riverview Park and its largest is Red Mountain Park, which includes a lake, playgrounds and sport courts. In addition, Mesa is home to Usery Mountain Regional Park which boasts hiking, mountain biking and shooting range.

Mesa is a family friendly community, with multiple public Elementary, Junior High and High School locations through the Mesa Public School system. Plus, there are highly accredited charter and private schools. Mesa Community College partners with Arizona State University (ASU), and an ASU off-campus location exists in Southeast Mesa, ASU Polytechnic Campus.

Residential communities abound including family suburban, active adult 55+ communities, Townhomes, Condos and the fastest growing corridor is the east and southeast portion of Mesa with new build housing construction by major home builders.
